TIKTOK released a statement stating they have zero tolerance for hate speeches and content. All content related to the 513 racial incident will be removed because it violates community usage guidelines.

Tiktok says that no matter what form the content is posted in, once the offending content is found, it will be taken down and removed within the shortest possible time. They also said that users could use the in-app reporting function if they find any illegal content.

TikTok has communicated with relevant agencies, including the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), since the eve of the Malaysian elections. It is understood that after the 15th national election, TikTok has seen a lot of racial hate speech and even warned of a repeat of the 513 incident, causing widespread concern and worry.
