Ezra Miller, a star of The Flash, has gained attention recently for his questionable behaviour. The 29-year-old actor is finally receiving therapy for “complex mental health concerns,” a spokesman told entertainment website Variety.

Miller, who identifies as non-binary and uses “they” and “them” as pronouns, also expressed regret for actions that have resulted in a number of legal problems as well as accusations of assault and abuse.

After going through a recent period of extreme crises, the actor revealed, “I now realise that I am dealing with complex mental health difficulties and have started receiving continuing treatment.”

“I want to apologise to everyone whose feelings I may have disturbed or alarmed with my previous behaviour. I'm determined to put forth the effort required to return to a safe, secure, and productive period of my life.”

Miller was last week accused of breaking into a house in Vermont and stealing bottles of alcohol.

This most recent incident continues a trend of troubling behaviour that began at least in 2020, when the celebrity is accused of strangling a lady in Iceland. No complaints were made.

The troubled actor was twice detained in Hawaii this year for harassment and violence in addition to being accused of abusing and grooming youngsters.

Miller, who has starred in the Fantastic Beasts series from 2016 to the present, will star in the upcoming 2023 The Flash film.

Variety reported that Warner Bros. Discovery supported Miller's choice to seek professional assistance, citing an insider there. – the Asia News Network and The Straits Times
