Man utd's unbeaten streak stops

Man Utd

#1 Mini-unbeaten run stops. Man Utd started the season with horrible performances, but Eric ten Hag was able to handle the pressure and revitalize Man Utd. With the loss, the mini unbeaten streak is broken. Man Utd is only able to create 3 shots on target against Real Sociedad. This may be an indication that Manchester United fans may have to expect some ups and downs under ten Hag this season.

#2 Ronaldo can’t be playing in the Champions League. Ronaldo has been playing in the Champions League for 19 consecutive years. This is his first time in 20 years to play in Europa League. In the match, he was surrounded by the Real Sociedad Defenders. He contributed his trademark header but it was unfortunately ruled out.

#3 Maguire returns to the first team. Harry Maguire has been warming the bench for the last few weeks. The 29-year-old defender may have to get used to his new role as Martinez and Raphael Varane have been performing superbly in recent weeks.
