Malaysia-Singapore Informal meeting
The two leaders met in a relaxed atmosphere at a hotel where they both stayed, and among the things discussed were on a retreat between the Malaysian and Singaporean leaders.
“We talked about the retreat between Malaysia and Singapore. Singapore will be the host this year and among the matters discussed was on the date,” Ismail Sabri told the Malaysian media after the half-hour meeting.

In a photo of the pair meeting, Ismail Sabri can be seen wearing a black, white and blue Burberry shirt that costs RM5,500.
A netizen uploaded the photo in a post criticizing Ismail Sabri for being the country's leader and for wearing a formal suit or a “badi shirt” that reflects Malaysian culture when meeting other leaders.
Some netizens also said it was inappropriate for the prime minister to wear a designer shirt at a time when people are suffering from COVID-19 and even have to withdraw RM10,000 from the provident fund.
Another netizen joked about wearing expensive shirts but not ironing them.
Perak An Shun Action Party Member of Parliament Nga Kor Ming, like everyone else, poked fun at Sabri on his social media account after seeing the price of the jacket. He said the prime minister's outfit was “pretty”, like going to the beach for a fashion show.
