In response to having a Disneyland in Melak, Melaka exco for Tourism, Heritage and Culture Datuk Muhammad Jailani Khamis clarified that the clarification of the construction of the park is the initial plan of the investor, has not yet been agreed by Disney, for which he apologized to Disney. He stated that having Disneyland is in the planning and they were planning on the possibility of it being in the Jasin district. There wasn't any confirmation on the plan yet.
Media attaching photos from Disneyland caused displeasure
Jailani pointed out that some media published this news with the photos of Disney attached, which caused Disney's dissatisfaction. For this matter, he apologized to Disney and said that if Disney did not intend to cooperate with the investor, they would try to find another park operator from another country.
