MATTA has repeatedly expressed concern over this matter because it will hinder the country's tourism development.

The main issue now is whether corruption, abuse of power, or mistreatment of tourists exist. Whether Tiong King Sing is violating the law is another issue.

Tan Kok Liang also said that the government needs to work on improving the country's image as a safe tourist destination and to fight corruption, especially at KLIA.
