Covid-19 Cases

Based on MOH's website, the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases keep declining in recent days, below 1,500. Yesterday (7th June), there were a total of 1,128 confirmed cases reported.

The number of cases in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur decreased to 598 and 170 respectively. Other states include Penang (78 cases), Sabah (63 cases), Perak (47 cases), Johor (44 cases), Kedah (34 cases), Negeri Sembilan (26 cases), Sarawak (22 cases), Malacca (12 cases), Kelantan (10 cases), Pahang (8 cases), Terengganu (7 cases), Putrajaya (6 cases) and Perlis (3 cases).

Labuan Territory had zero confirmed cases yesterday.

So far, our country has accumulated 4,517,447 cases since pandemic start.

Active Covid-19 cases also keep dropping

Yesterday (7th), based on data from COVIDNOW, the number of active cases in our country decreased by 428 to a total of 21,202 and 1,547 recovered cases.

At the same time, there were 9 deaths in Malaysia yesterday, of which 5 were local deaths.

According to the data, 918 patients were admitted to hospital. While 25 patients were admitted to ICU, of which 12 of them were ventilated. Others are quarantined at home or PKRC.
