The chairman of the Pejuang, Tun Mahathir, presided over the launch of Pejuang in Kota Kinabalu, but photos of the scattered scene were circulated online. Mahathir believes that this does not reflect the actual election situation.
Only a few attendees at the scene can be seen in the photos. Most of the seats are empty. Some people even pointed out that Mahathir's era is gone.
Can't Reflect The Real Support Of Pejuang
Mahathir said he is confident that Pejuang will get the support of the Sabah people. It is reported that the back row of chairs at the launch is almost empty, and only about 200 supporters are at the scene.
Mahathir will lead the 116 candidates of the GTA in the 15th national election, of which there are 14 seats in Sabah.
