On May 17th, the “5G Communication Shell” that supports dual-mode 5G was officially announced. This product is developed and produced by Soyealink by embedding an eSIM chip and a 5G modem in the mobile phone case to upgrade the mobile phone network from 4G to 5G. This 5G communication case is developed and produced by Soyealink.
It is understood that the weight and thickness of this product are close to conventional mobile phone protective cases. The official configuration data shows that the 5G communication case weighs about 52g, and the thickness of the large surface is about 3.2mm. With light gray color and leather material, it will not affect the user experience after wearing, and it is not easy to be contaminated with fingerprints.
The first product launched this time is suitable for Huawei P50 Pro models, and it is reported that adaptation support will be provided for more manufacturers and more models in the future. This product only needs to activate the eSIM service under one mobile phone main card to get the 5G network experience.

In terms of operation steps, users who use the 5G communication shell for the first time only need to select a main card, activate the operator's eSIM service with the support of the main card, and follow the mobile phone operation guidelines to experience 5G data access to the Internet. At the same time, the main card of the mobile phone and the eSIM network signal of the 5G communication shell are merged into one card and displayed in the mobile phone signal bar.
It is reported that the price of this 5G communication shell is 799 yuan (about RM518), and it is expected to be officially launched to consumers in early June.
