Australian police have recently seized a heroin shipment worth RM790 million, weighing 336 kilograms. According to reports, this batch of drug trafficking is the second largest case of its kind in the history of Australian drug trafficking.
Prime Minister Anwar ordered the police to investigate as fast as possible how this batch of heroin shipment was smuggled from Malaysia to Brisbane, Australia.
Over 10 Times Of Heroin Shipments Not Detected
Anwar says if it is true, it is embarrassing that it came from Port Klang. He wants to know how did it go undetected and this smuggling activity continue 12 to 16 times undetected until the Australian authorities uncovered this.
Anwar has urged Bukit Aman to carry out an urgent investigation and report within the next one or two weeks.
