DOTA2 International Invitational (Ti), founded in 2011, is a global e-sports event held every year, hosted by Valve Corporation (V), and has been held for 10 sessions so far. Recently, Valve officially announced at the Stockholm Major that the “DOTA2” 2022 International Invitational Tournament TI 11 will be held in Singapore.

While Valve has hosted international competitions in the United States, Canada, China, Germany and Romania in the past, this is the first time a global esports competition has traveled to a Southeast Asian country.

Valve teased the upcoming event in a tweet, but didn't provide any other details other than a location and date. The event is known for its very generous rewards, with last year's winning team receiving a portion of the $40 million prize.

This huge sum comes from crowdfunding funds purchased by the DOTA2 community in the game and has been increasing over the years. It's not known how much prize money this year's tournament will have, but it probably won't take long to find out.

It is worth mentioning that the original location of the 10th DOTA2 International Invitational Tournament was located in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. However, because the Swedish Sports Federation did not include e-sports into the sports league, the application of tourist visas for participating players and staff to enter Sweden was affected. 10 could not be held in Sweden.
