Nationality For Casualties In Cambodia Casino Fire Has Yet Disclosed
A spokesman for the Cambodian National Police declined to comment on the casualties and said authorities are still working to put out the blaze.
According to a statement from Thai authorities in Sa Kaeo province, the fire left at least seven people dead, 53 injured, and eight missings. However, the nationality of the casualties was not mentioned.
Thailand's Ministry of Health said at least 32 people were taken to Sa Kaeo province hospitals for treatment. One Thai national died in the hospital after being resuscitated.
Volunteers from the Ruamkatanyu Foundation, a Thai rescue group, said the fire started on the first floor and quickly spread to other floors.
