Based on MOH official website yesterday (11th May), Malaysia exceeded 3000 confirmed Covid-19 cases yesterday (11th May),, rising from 2605 cases to 3321 cases, a total of 706 new Covid-19 cases increased. While 10 of them were imported infections.
So far, Malaysia had accumulated 4,467,061 total cases of Covid-19. There were 1,897 active cases, 1,416 recoveries cases and 8 deaths cases yesterday.
Unvaccinated children have to pay for the covid-19 vaccine jabs
Our Health Minister, Khairy had pointed out, the National Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids) aged between 5 to 12 will end this Sunday (15th May). The government could not extend the deadline due to the expiry date of the Covid-19 vaccine stock.
Penang’s Health Committee chairman, Dr. Norlela, said that children who have not get the first dose will have to pay for the Sinovac vaccine at private medical and health institutions.
But, children who had their first dose of the vaccine before 15th May can still get their second dose for free even after the deadline.
