Saraswathy said the council will also be established as a one-stop center for entrepreneurs, cooperatives, vendors and small businesses, which will involve local law enforcement authorities in each county of the state, and the department will be responsible for oversight.

For the upcoming budget 2023, Saraswathy said the department hopes to focus on new entrepreneurial development, as well as assisting the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.
