According to Billion Dollar Whale authors Tom Wright and Bradley Hope, Low Taek Jho (“Jho Low”) are operating and running a business consulting firm in Shanghai.

Wright revealed in a series of tweets that Low has a Chinese company called Guiyue Business Consulting that is 100% owned by Grace Zenith. Grace Zenith was founded in the British Virgin Islands (BVI) with a US$333 million capital contribution (RM1.5 billion).

According to documents, “Grace Zenith,” a Low-controlled BVI with a subscribed capital of $333 million, has an office at Shanghai World Financial Center. In one of his tweets, Tom stated.

In the tweet, it states that Malaysian leaders cannot do anything to reclaim the millions from Jho Low in the Shanghai World Financial Centre. This is because too many people are involved in the crime.

Low has been on the run since the 14th general election when the Pakatan Harapan government was elected. He is accused of stealing billions of dollars from Malaysia's sovereign fund 1MDB, alongside former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, who was sentenced to 12 years in prison and is currently serving his sentence.

Low has been on the run, and Interpol has been unable to track him down. Tom and Bradley are the authors of Billion Dollar Whale, a book that exposed the 1MDB scandal, which has been called “one of the world's greatest financial scandals.”
