Windows 11 version 22H2 update
Windows 11 version 22H2 is the first feature update for Windows 11 since its launch in October 2021, and will be officially released this fall, probably in October. (“22” stands for 2022 and “H2” means released in the second half of the year.) Microsoft has been teasing the 22H2 update for some time, and sources say the company will release it in late September 2022.
Development of version 22H2 began shortly before Windows 11 was completed and is currently being tested by participants in Microsoft's Windows Insider program. The program will often provide “active development” builds with new features to the beta channel, some of which will be shipped as part of version 22H2 release.
This is great news as the 22H2 brings a lot of great features to Windows 11. These include an improved task manager, task bar drag and drop, snap improvements, tabbed file explorer, start menu changes, stickers, better volume changing and many more.
The Windows 11's 22H2 update is available in the Release Preview Channel of the Windows Insider Program. As long you have Windows 11 device, you can install it now and experience the early build. Even if you may come across with bugs or other issues, it’s a risk worth taking.
