The Portuguese superstar is keen to play Champions League football this season and could leave United just a year after re-joining the club from Juventus.

Atletico Madrid Fans are Against Signing Ronaldo

Ronaldo was left at home for United's pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia and is yet to feature for the club since Erik ten Hag's arrival.

Chelsea, Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain have all been linked with the forward, as have Atletico Madrid.

Reports linking Ronaldo with Atletico have angered supporters of the Spanish club, who are determined to stop their team from signing the striker that played for their rivals Real Madrid between 2009 and 2018.

Angry fans have united behind the hashtag #ContraCR7 [AgainstCR7] on Twitter to voice their opposition to the club signing Ronaldo.
