Ambank has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BSN to collaborate on the provision of Entrepreneurship Development Workshops (EDWs) aimed at enhancing the financial and business literacy of MSMEs.

Bank Negara chief executive officer Datuk Datuk Sulaiman Mohd Tahir said that besides enhancing the entrepreneurs' financial literacy, it also provides them with access to financial services and financing.

Bank Negara Malaysia's partnership with BSN aims to provide a series of programs for SME operators. These courses can help enhance their financial literacy, financial management, business management, operations management and digital transformation knowledge.

Sulaiman Mohd Tahir said SMEs often encounter obstacles when accessing financial services or financing. They will drive their business growth through an educational approach. Nationwide Savings Bank Chief Executive Officer, Jay Khairil, said these SMEs are existing customers of BSN. They were chosen because they are ready to move to the next level.
