James Webb Space Telescope

James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) is the world's largest and expensive ($8.8-billion) space telescope designed and begin constructed by NASA in the last 20 years. JWST was launched on 25 December 2021. The JWST is 6.5-meter in diameter with 18 gold-coated mirrors and it has sun-shield of a tennis court-sized to gather light and protect its instruments in the space.

On 11th July 2022, JWST are able to capture the deepest and sharpest infrared image of more than 1,000 galaxy with 4.6 billion years which include event the faintest objects via Webb’s First Deep Field

On the same date, JWST also able to reveals the image Cosmic Cliffs, Glittering Landscape of Star Birth for the first time where it is previously invisible areas of star birth. This landscape of ‘mountains' and ‘valleys' speckled with glittering stars is actually the edge of a nearby, young, star-forming region called NGC 3324 in the Carina Nebula.
