Perak Simpang Pulai to Cameron Federal Highway, occurred a landslide due to the heavy rain. The road was completely blocked. It was fully opened for traffic at 4:30 am. There was no injuries reported.

The preliminary investigation of the landslide was due to the high volume of surface runoff caused by heavy rainfall. The contractor cleared the site and reopened the road for traffic at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
Ipoh Police advised traffic users to be aware of the road conditions when driving through the above roads, especially during inclement and unstable weather. This can reduce the risk of accidents.
