Popular Irish pop group Westlife will return to Kuala Lumpur next February as part of their “Westlife The Wild Dreams Tour”.

The group, which performed at the Singapore Grand Prix on October 1, consists of Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Shane Filan and Mark Feehily.

During the pandemic, they held the first live online concert for fans, which attracted 20 million online users to watch the concert. In addition to preparing their own famous songs, they also prepared Pu Shu's song “Ordinary Road” in order to cater to the Chinese market, to show their Chinese strength, and let the fans who watched them leave a message to call out the correct pronunciation and even full sincerity.

According to portal Hype, Westlife is delighted to be back in the area again and has already planned a special show.

Westlife said they are always excited to be back in Asia to meet their fans after everything that's happened in the world over the past few years. They explain this tour is more important to them than anything they have done before.

“It's going to be a huge celebration that will bring us closer to our fans than ever before. We're planning some spectacular shows that will include all of our hits and some special surprises,” the group said in a statement.

The concert will have six different seating categories as well as a “Royal Box”, with tickets ranging from RM294 to RM884.

The organiser Trumpet International will open a pre-sale ticket booth at the Main Atrium in LaLaport BBCC on October 10, while online ticket sales will begin on October 11.

Back in August 2019, the group has attracted local fans during his “Twenty Tour” at the Marawati Indoor Stadium in Shah Alam.

They performed their hits such as Swear It Again, My Love, When You're Look Like That and Uptown Girl to around 7,000 Malaysians.
